Terrorists have attacked protected and unprotected targets worldwide, which demonstrate standard security procedures will not prevent a planned terrorist attack. Prevention requires design and development of systems that have been tested by successfully thwarting terrorism over many years.

Shafran USA collaborates with Israeli counterterrorism experts and uses an Israeli model that has been tested for 50 years. This counterterrorism event-based analysis provides a framework to evaluate the terrorist threat, the targets vulnerability and the consequences of a potentially successful terrorist attack. From this assessment Shafran USA designs the most effective counterterrorism systems to insure clients are protected.

Shafran USA offers four different types of services to public and private sectors to assist in their preparedness to prevent terrorist attacks:

Consultation
Shafran USA provides a custom terrorist prevention assessment to determine:

• What the known or suspected terrorist threats are to an organization

• What vulnerabilities to people and facilities exist at an organization

• What systems and processes need to be in place to prevent a terrorist attack

Security System Design & Development
Shafran USA designs and develops multi-layered custom security systems to ensure there are no areas vulnerable to terrorist attack.

Management & Training
After a custom security system has been designed and installed, Shafran USA works one-on-one with new and existing staff to train, supervise and support personnel to implement a new secure and redundant system to prevent terrorism.

Terrorist Attack Insurance Liability Assessment
The federal government has encouraged insurance companies to provide counterterrorism insurance coverage to their clients by developing the Terrorism Re-insurance Program (TRIP). TRIP ensures that insurance companies do not sustain a huge financial loss should terrorists successfully attack one of their clients.  Shafran USA conducts terrorist threat assessments and designs counterterrorism to reduce the risk of a terrorist attack thereby reducing the insurers’ potential for financial loss.
